Offered is a lithographed textile made by Schwab & Wolf of New York. It is made of linen and dates to 1909. It features a striking view of an Indian scout overlooking a wagon train. The following is printed along the bottom of the textile: COPYRIGHT 1909 | INDIAN SCOUT | SCHWAB & WOLF, N.Y. The perfect statement piece for a cabin or western home.
Conservation Process: This textile was hand sewn to cotton fabric, and both were hand sewn to a mounting board. To prevent the black dye in the cotton fabric from seeping into the textile, it was first washed in a standard wash and then in a dye setting wash. The textile is positioned behind Optium Museum Acrylic.
